Greetings neighbors and happy holidays! There will be no association meeting or newsletter in December due to the busy holiday season and also all of the time everyone is devoting to the annual ONA Christmas Tree Sale. Please be sure to join us at the January meeting on the 21st at Taylor University in the Kekionga Room.

The neighborhood is buzzing about The Friendly Fox. This new cafe and bakery offers “coffee, confections and comfort,” as the sign says. I stopped in for a cup of coffee and heard customer after customer raving about the place. The restored building greets customers with a cozy atmosphere and the delicious smells of fresh baked goods. You can sit at a table or lounge on a couch. They even have wireless internet available!
They do not have a website yet, so I scanned a copy of the Friendly Fox Menu. The owner also mentioned that they have daily specials.
Support our new local cafe at 4001 South Wayne Ave., just one block south of Rudisill. Their phone number is 745 – 3369.

For more information, check out the website or call the Leaf Hotline at 427-2302.
